XFO Audio 2 channel CINEMAG CMOQ-3/L XFO Box with 3-position Stereo Input Switch and 5-position Output Attenuator

This unit features a discrete, 3 position stereo input select switch and 5 position rotary output attenuator switch. 

Cinemag has been building transformers in the USA for decades. They are the transformer of choice for all modern XFO Audio designs because of their build quality and sonics.

The CMOQ-3/L features an interleaved core of 50% nickel and 50% steel laminations which means they sound fantastic.

Two output impedance taps allow you to access a little free gain (1:2) or a little step down in level (1:1) due to insertion loss.

These are excellent strapped on outputs of just about anything including drum busses, hot mic preamp outputs, main mixes, keyboard/synth/drum machines, etc. Often outputs of modern digital gear are a little lacking in depth, excitement and punch. Transform them with these passive better-makers.

You will notice a sonic difference when you start implementing transformer-based designs in your signal flow! Pleasing high frequencies, cohesive mids and a tightened low end. But please don't take my word for it, let your ears be the judge!
