This is a pair of mono passive XFO Boxes featuring a 1:1 impedance ratio @ 600:600 ohm MCI transformers. These vintage, large, high-headroom transformers have a small number of nickel laminations. Their sound is big and 3 dimensional. These were used on MCI JH series console direct outputs before they switched to using active output balancing/driving circuits based around a 5532 IC chip.
